Laser: Branding that is engraved into your clothes

Laser is one of the newer ways to place a logo labelling on. In this case, the logo is engraved in the fabric and this provides an exclusive and permanent branding on your fabric..

What types of fabrics is it possible to use laser engraving on?

If you want your logo marking to be stylish and discreet, laser engraving is the way to go, as your logo is engraved right in that material. With the use of laser engraving, the top layer of the fabric is burned and the result is “tone in tone” – a degree of a lighter/darker tone than the fabric.

We recommend Laser for:

• Fleece (microfleece)
• Softshell
• Felt
• Denim
• Leather

As the laser engraving takes place during a “burning process,” you should not choose laser engraving for relatively thin products as the laser will burn a hole right through the item.

What are some of the advantages with Laser?

The advantage of Laser is that the logo marking is permanent. For example, you won’t need to be concerned about degradation when you wash the fabric, as the logo does not change. In a purely visual sense, laser engraving provides a discrete and exclusive logo marking that significantly differs from either heat transfers and embroidery.

This is what you should be aware of

The best results are achieved when choosing fabrics of minimum 50% polyester and fabrics in strong bright colours.
